Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General DD demo ?

Right now I don't have money, so will a demo be made that can quench my thirst for rpg (for a short while) ?

There was no demo made for Divine Divinity based on the remastered version, but the original demo (400MB) is still available. There are also demos for Beyond Divinity (168MB) and D2:ED (1.8GB). There will be a demo released for DKS shortly after FoV and DKS are out, which may be a better option that getting the D2:ED demo (with DKS being available in a couple days).

There seem's to be some kind of problem with cnet, I can't download. But now I know the demo exists, so I'll keep searching.

If you want to squeeze a little extra play time out of the demo, after you have finished the town and catacombs, and explored outside town far enough south to get the 'end of demo' message, you can quicksave there and then quickload to keep playing. There will be missing rooves, etc, since the artwork was not included, and some opponents will be invisible (you can still target them by hitting the Ctrl button).

After downloading the demo, I go to start the game and it prompts me to test graphics and directx then it just crashes on black screen..
