Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance FoV vs. DKS: Any different?

I'd like to know if FoV is any different if bought separately than if played as part of DKS. I know many parts of ED were revised and improved in DKS, but is the same true for FoV (since it was produced later), or is it more or less the same?

I'm specifically talking about content (items, area maps, etc), not any game engine changes or improvements. So let me know if it is more or less identical or not. Thanks!

I don't know for sure (I've only played DKS), but as a lurker on these forums it seems apparent that FoV (ED) is the same as FoV (DKS). Each version has different backwards-compatibility, but they should be essentialy the same game from the FoV point onwards...

From what I heard, it seems that the expansion is the same regardless you play it in DKS or with ED+FOV.
