Backlog:
- 03/04/14 added info on beta launch and updated major known issues
- 11/03/14 added info on 1.0.166 and added two major known issues for this patch
- 24/01/14 added info on 1.0.99 -- savegames should no longer crash
- 22/01/14 added 1.0.95 hotfix updates. Updated technical issues regarding savegames crashing and game issues faq regarding update to version 1.0.95
- 21/01/14 created FAQ
A) Concerning Kickstarter:- 1) I'm a backer - where do i get my key?
- How to get your key(s) was posted on the kickstarter webpage:

- You can give away your alpha key but keep in mind that this key does not give access to the full game yet. This is only for Alpha access so do not advertise it as a full game key when giving it to someone. Full game can only be bought via steam at the moment. People who have bought an early access version there will have the full game automatically on release. Kickstarter backers will get new keys to activate once the game has been released. - 3) i'm a backer and i have a question about rewards or my pledge:

B) Major Technical Issues:- 1) the game does not start up at all:
- check if you have the latest drivers
- check if you meet the minimum requirements for the game
- check if the support packages for the game are installed correctly (you can find these in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\_CommonRedist)
- if all suggestions above do not help, contact supportdos@larian.com with a report.zip attached from our support tool : http://www.larian.com/OriginalSinAlpha/AnalysisTool_DOS.exe - 2) the game starts up but i cannot make a new game (endless loading screen)
- if you are playing from a 32-bit operating system: try lowering the texture quality and try again.
- if this does not fix the issue, contact supportdos@larian.com with a report.zip attached from our support tool : http://www.larian.com/OriginalSinAlpha/AnalysisTool_DOS.exe - 3)the game starts up and i can start a new game but I am returned to the main menu
- more debug info has been added to the D:OS client in the current version, which will give us insight into this issue.

C) Game issues:
