Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Got Some Minor Problem's..

Every thing seemed to work OK for awhile and when I got a little into the game the Map's would go black, just seemed like part's of the map, the mini map would be ok. It was the large map that would partially go black, like I never been there and the button's to shrink or make the maps larger don't work either. Help please.. Try deleting the files in the dynamics folders ('..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc).
After this, try starting a new game, and see if the zoom buttons in the auto map work properly, then check your latest save.

Try backing up your saved games and doing a clean un-install and re-install + patch, making sure to shut down all non-essential programs (especially anti-virus) before doing so.

Zoom button work's OK. The map where the Imp's are works Ok too, it seem's to be the out side map's or the over world map's that won't shrink or enlarge.. I really don't want to start over If I don't have to? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> The battle arena maps are the ones' that I've noticed this issue so far.

The new game suggestion was just to try to narrow down if it was a problem with the game itself or something in the save game folder.

I have not done much in the battlefields yet, besides trade with the merchants. The maps there may not be zoom-able because they are randomly generated.

I did like you asked and reinstalled the game but got the same affect. Not a real big deal thoe as long as thing's don't get worse as I play on.
