I just lost a nice set of armor and 11 other items I stored in a barrel for use later. They disappear (or are bearly visible) off the right side of the window and cannot be retrieved. The same thing happens with chests. Looks like the width of the barrels and chests is greater than the width of the window that displays the contents.
