checking disk error, click here, please

Could this help, Maeya? I'm searching other articles though. Look at Ariana's posts, ok? She deleted a file.

And you need the game CD in the CD-drive. For the US version => this would be CD 2.

And the last thing I found => if you have an Australian version, the patch will not work with the English one. Now, I'm out of clues <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> - but I hope, Raze can help.

Holding my thumbs and toes for you - I'm just a cheap novice when it comes to tech - but I'm sure, Raze will find an answer if he comes to the board.

German is my 1st language.

About the patch version => look at your main screen, where load, save etc is => what is standing on the lower right corner? There you can see your version.

a pic-link for those, not knowing which version they play

Just one tip - lockpick was very important in Divinity, but in BD it's broken, so don't invest skill pts into it, ok?

THANK YOU for the tip i was looking for lock pick right at the first, because i can't open the treasure box in act one near my jail, couldn't find the key, still can't lol thought it was like divinty where you just have to have lock pick to open some things, so i suppose that means there is a key... somewhere.....

Correct - keys are very important.

And another thing: In Div you were used to getting a skill book and having access to the skill at once. This is different in BD => you buy a skill, get a book and it only OPENS a skill (path). In order to activate/use a skill, you need to have skill pts of your own and put them into the skill.

Combat is slower, because you have restrictions, due to your stats. So, you don't need to click very fast.

If you wish to look at all skills you can get in the game => look at your skill table and click on the small table => you will see all, even if they are not opened yet.

I don't know if this link will help you to get accustomed to fighting, as I made it for mages - but maybe some descriptions will help. Sorry, for the small writing.

Hm, I'd not go for mage skills in Act 1 if I were you. But try your own style. Please, check the link, I edited into my former post.

here is one, if you want to try out ranged combat. It is important to target your enemy, so use CTRL until you get a knack for it. Target the enemy circle.
