Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems act 1 first battlefeild key problems

after i obtain the first battlefeild key i am unable to enter the battlefeild. the main menu option to enter it does not light up.

p.s. i just updated to the 1.47 patch

The main menu battlefield option is for the after-game BF. During the game, you can enter the BF from the secondary skill menu after you have found a key in each act. Click on the secondary skill icon beside any of the characters' portraits, and there should be an enter battlefield icon at the bottom of the list.

ah thank you so much i thought i had a nasty bug here:)

i have a similar problem. i see the icon in the secondary window but when i click on the icon it will start to load and then the game will lock up at the same spot, about 75% through the loading. whats happening ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

How long did you wait? The battlefield dungeons are generated the first time you enter, which can take some time. Try entering again, but leave it for awhile.

well what happens is the game locks up. so i dont know what the prob is. i now have up to level 3 unlocked but i cant get there. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

How long did you wait? Just because the progress bar doesn't update for awhile doesn't necessarily mean that it has locked up (unless you went to a movie or something and came back to find the screen unchanged).
If you didn't wait 15 or 20 minutes, try that (though it shouldn't really take that long).

i pressed ctrl+alt+delete and it said
"divinity Not Responding"

this is very frustrating

also i now have the second key, the one u get right before u go outside to the lava area and it still dont work.

Programs (even Windows Explorer, for example) do not necessarily respond to Windows in a timely manner when they are doing something resource intensive, and can appear to be unresponsive (especially games, since they are not designed to be multi-tasked).

Really, try waiting longer. Hit the enter BF icon and go make yourself a snack, stretch your legs or something, and go back in 15 or 20 minutes.
