Hi guys <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

im playing Divine Divinity and this game very often boots me to windows, like, after i leave the vendor in the first town of the game mostly. a message comes up and says "this programme has encountered a problem and must be terminated" or something like that, then it asks me to send an error report. i tried turning the resolution down, but when i do that the screen dont automaticly pan with the movement of the character, i have to manually pan it with the pointer keeping it on the edge of the screen.

when i DL'ed the game i had all bacground programms off, i ran dxdiag and everything is running okay i cant figure out why it boots me so often.

im running a fast pc with 512mb ram and a pci express graphics card. any advice would be very much appreciated <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The message asking if you want to send an error report is from Windows.

It probably wasn't changing game resolutions that effected the screen focus. If you enable Caps Lock, or hold the Shift key down, you can move the screen focus away from the character, allowing you to see or toss things further. In this case, the screen focus may not follow the character when using stairs, etc, but disabling Caps Lock should re-centre the screen focus.

Did you install the patch? Some of the versions of DD bundled with BD are already updated to the latest 1.0034A version, as shown in the bottom right corner of the main menu.
