LandStalker was a fun RPG that didn't involve war. Just a treasure hunter and a duke that ended up racing each other to the treasure.

This war could end in D2 and another start up again for D3.

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

D2 plot is cheap. Don't take it too seriously.

While the Divinity II plot is full of genre tropes, I feel that they did a stellar job with it.

It's hard to pull off humor and compelling characters. I feel Larian succeeded where most other developers fail.

My Favorite RPGs: Divinity franchise, Gothic franchise (including Arcania, so I think I'm alone...), Venetica, Risen, Two Worlds II, The Witcher, Sacred franchise, Fallout franchise, Mass Effect 1, Alpha Protocol, Planescape: Torment, Drakensang, KOTOR 1 & 2, etc.

Another developer that often falls for genre tropes.

Of Blizzard ?

Yes.

When you find a big kettle of crazy, it's best not to stir it.

Will there still be annoying stuttering like in Ego Draconis?

I had pc specs:
AMD X2 6000+ 3.01GhZ
2 GB RAM
GIGABYTE GF 8600GT 256MB
WIN XP SP2

and I couldn't play at any resolutions and detail settings because of non stop stuttering...

few days ago I have changed my GPU into GIGABYTE GTX460 1GB 256bit OC
so I'm wondering will that help especially in this "remastered" Dragon Knight Saga. I'm talking about English release with polish subtitles(problem with stuttering was with any language version besides German).

There is no public list of fixes yet in the upcoming patch or FoV / DKS, but it is a known issue a few people have run into, and there were engine optimizations made.

Well I guess there's a lot more than just a few people which have problems with this game. I guess that Saga will have patch included already.

Just out of curiosity, why can FOV be released as a sequel with character imports available? Seems like I have to pay twice for the same thing if I get DKS. If I do have to get DKS for 360 would their be a way to continue my old save game?

On the PC FoV is available separately, as a digital download. On the Xbox it is too large to be released as DLC, and Larian could not get it published as a disk version (only the German PC release got a disk version of FoV).

There were too many changes in DKS (redesigned flying fortresses, changes to enemy placement and loot, etc) to maintain save compatibility. Lar mentioned recently the possibility of creating a tool to import D2:ED saves and export them to the FoV section of DKS, but it would have to wait until the FoV to DKS conversion patch is done. If such a utility does get released, I don't know if an Xbox version would be feasible.
