I cant understand why this game is not out for the Xbox 360 here in the United States!

I understand the game needs a publisher but how was Ego Draconis able to get a publisher?
I do have that game, but stopped playing once I heard about The Dragon Knight Saga.

I love RPG's and want this game badly!!

PLEASE HURRY AND PUBLISH THIS GAME TO THE UNITED STATES!!!

As Lar said already before:

Concerning the Xbox360 version of DKS in the US: We're doing our best to get it to the USA as fast as possible. We're in talks with a fairly large number of publishers/distributors for the moment who are interested in bringing The Dragon Knight Saga to the US so we are quite hopeful that's still going to happen. US publishers didn't really believe in The Dragon Knight Saga when we pitched it to them quite some time ago but given the reception it's been getting in Europe, there's a chance they might change their mind.

Just a little more patience please, we have high hopes. Things are moving wink

Does this mean that the game will in fact be released in the USA? I am trying my best to be patient but want to play this game badly!

Thank You!

Thank you, KingMafiaIV.

Maybe we should open a Facebook Page, something like "We want The Dragon Knight Saga for Xbox360 in the US!" hehe Why not? And spread this as much as possible in the US.

You can already support us by joining our Divinity II Facebook Page.

All good things come to those who wait. I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't lent a hand - it's THAT GOOD!!

If Sega Eurpoe/US/Japan could of made a deal in the first place that would of been cool. 3 of the big gaming regions covered in one.

I "Liked" it too. I can't wait for this game!! It is on my Top Priority of purchasing list. I have told as many people that I know who like Western Styled RPGs about this game. Sooo pumped!!

Ever since I played the Eco Draconis on the XBL Marketplace Demo's, I have been excited for this game. I listened to review though for the first one they had stated it was not so polished and so forth. (I later heard that you guys were rushed for release)

Then when I heard about this remastered version, it was awesome. I can not wait for this game now!

I would definitely buy DKS if it was released for XBOX 360 in the US.

I hope the publishers wake up, because this game is far better than most stock here in the USA or nearby Canada. I've taken quite the liking to games from Europe in recent years.

Keep up the good work Larian.

If anyone has any updates please do inform me!! This game has taken over my ability to do my everyday tasks in life! I can not rest easy with the black cloud hanging over this great game!!

Since there is no answer as to any publisher picking this title up, would I be able to buy an xbox 360 that is made for the UK and then buy this game and play it?? biggrin

You may need some type of Step Up Transformer as we run on 240 volts in the UK?? To you it would be a very specialist item and I would seek professional advice before parting with any funds. Your TV's should support PAL50hz/60hz, but there is always that chance some may not. The trend in the UK is PAL 60hz nower days. Another option is VGA if not.

I had an expensive lesson when I plugged a 110 volt scanner into a 240 volt mains supply. Unsurprisingly, it went "bang". I imagine doing it the other way around would be less spectacular, but at best not very useful.

Most computery type things have had auto-sensing dual-voltage supplies for as long as I can remember... though I guess we are talking about an Xbox here, so maybe it's best not to make assumptions. Hopefully a decent online seller would give a full list of specifications including stuff like that.

I think that there is a risk that it could cause all sorts of chaos with region codes, however, so I'm not entirely sure if it's the ideal solution. Patience might be the best way forward, although as someone who is certainly not well versed in patience as a skill I can understand the agony!

I researched it on-line. It seems european xbox 360 can be used with US computer monitors with no problems. Eurpoean xbox can be bought from amazon.de. By some reason amason.co.uk does not ship them overseas.
And a step-up/step-down transformer (or voltage converter) should be seriously powerful. The one below will do, I think, for a console.

http://www.amazon.com/Power-Bright-..._6?ie=UTF8&qid=1292270962&sr=8-6

I am seriously contemplating this issue, not just to play DKS, but other european releases as well. It might happen that in the future they won't publish some european games in USA.

US computer monitors as I'm sure you know would be the way of a VGA lead.
Link: Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable

Reminds me of the Dreamcast days. I had a US DC just so I could play Quake 3 in the UK for free using my own ISP.

Good luck what ever you do, just do the right and safe thing!

Edit: Indeed reading what Vometia is saying it would make sense to have a UK region XBL account on that import 360 for any patches or downloads ect... Tho I do not know the facts as I keep to my own region now days.

Actually, there are multiple publishers interested for the moment. I think there's a high degree of certainty at this point that it'll come to the USA, perhaps sooner than we had dared hope.
