Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems Catacombs Save Crash. Game Over???

I've tried dozens of times to save the game right after entering the Temple Catacombs (Act 3). As soon as the Raan apparition give you the test of "never attack an unarmed creature" the game can no longer be saved.

- I've rerun config tool to try defaults
- I've transported to the battle fields
- I've gone back up the stair case.
- I've tried to play to a further area
- I've tried different compatibility modes, including running as administrator (been running on XP SP3 compatibility, no crashes until this)

This is a huge downer. There was one link from someone in Germany that said they had this problem and that the only solution was to "pass" the test. I can't pass it. The unarmed idiots have no health and always die.

Turns out the guy from Germany was right. The only way to keep the game from crashing is to pass the test. I hope that helps someone else. Good luck completing the test, its pretty hard to keep those knuckleheads alive. Despite what the apparition says, you don't need to attack them to fail. You need to keep them from being killed.
