If anyone knows how to work the script editor and get dialog working or knows where to find a tutorial / video it would be greatly appreciated.

I have made the Den of Evil and am currently working on the Den of evil map, but still am not sure how instancing works or scripting for quests / dialog.

Just out of curiosity - why don't you start from D1 isn't shorter then D2?

I only played a little bit of Diablo 1. Diablo 2 was what i grew up with and played for nearly a decade smile so its what sticks with me when i think Diablo.

I spent most of today re-scaling everything so it would be easier to create the rest of the map outside of the Rogue Encampment. but heres updated screenshots of what it looks like now.

Characters are unscripted, can't seem to get that working. When Larian release a scripting video thats the first thing i will be doing, then adding voice assets from Diablo 2 into this (hopefully). I would love to hear Deckard asking me to "Stay awhile and listen!"

Oddly enough, it looks even more eerie with the D:OS editor than it did in the original game. Well done!

Thanks laugh thats the look i was going for. I just remember Diablo 2 being quite grim and dark so i wanted to see how much i could amplify that in the divinity editor!

Portion of the lower camp and left side are a bit empty, i am not sure what to fill them with. In the game there wasn't much on the left side. I need to keep rescaling everything to try and crunch it together. Luckily there is no shortage of rocks/grass/wagons/farm animals to clutter the place with think

You know your version may deviate from the original. I'd even encourage you to not just copy it. Be original. What would fit, maybe you can also connect it to a quest that wasn't there before?

Yea i have found that i have to do this in order to fill up the camp and modernize it a bit, the original was a bit barren, As well as outside the camp i am having to fill places / make new things but trying to stay true to what you would expect to find in Diablo 2.

Open for suggestions for new quest ideas for when i start scripting when the map is complete.

(all the original Diablo 2 quests will hopefully be able to be created)

Things i need help with:
How to make a Character creation map (like the one from main but themed like the Diablo 2 character creation) I dont know if it requires scripting if anyone has done anything with character creation or knows how to can you post here or send me a pm?

Story Editor:
How to set up different options in a dialog and Quests. Same as the top if anyone knows how to do these if you could post or send me a pm with info it would be greatly appreciated.

Material Editor:
How the f*** does this thing work?
