Impressive list of improvements but my GTX260 SP216 still needs:

"defaults write com.larian.dos ShaderBasedClear -bool true" to work under OS X.

You have been fixed few cards but users of GTX285 (MacPro one) have same problem. Without this "magic fix" game stuck on account selection window.

Yosemite 10.10.1 | GTX260 SP216 (posts under osx like GTX285)

PS. Under 10.9.4 without problems on same setup.

Here is how I've been replicating the issue:
Scarlett casts Strong Regenerate on Roderick
Scarlett then casts Minor Heal on herself immediately after
Roderick only receives one heal from Strong Regenerate instead of two.

It almost seems that if the second heal gets cast too close to the last "tick" of an existing heal, then the existing one gets overridden. I'd imagine using Cure Wounds instead of hydro spells would have the same effect but haven't tried it.

I've run into the same thing casting minor heal twice in a row. Nice catch on the particulars about how it happens.

Why are people even asking for Dual Wielding? Because it "looks badass"?

I think this patch was great. Got nothing to add really.

Except a few fights are either broken (Boreas) or not working correctly (Hunters Edge) or simply needlessly annoying (Guardian wishing well, without wand).

Nothing game breaking though.

Raze.

I absolutely LOVE this game, but the combat turns are too slow for me and my friends taste.

To solve this, we all had to download CheatEngine and activate the gamespeed edit, to run the game at 1.5X's speed.

The game feels fabulous at that speed.

However, could you PLEASE add a game speed/combat speed slider to the options so we can avoid having to go to third party programs.

Thanks!

I second that - always nice to be able to speed up combat in turn-based games.

I wonder ... when the (big) new patch becomes reality ...
Do I've to start a "New Game" to have access to all the changes in this patch ?

Or can I go further on with my current playround (now level 12) ?

I would guess the harder difficulty mode would only be available in a new game. I don't know about the new skills, etc; significant changes could cause issues with existing saves. It would probably be safer to require a new game, technically and for those people who built their characters around exploits that are nerfed, etc.

What about the new patch?
I wanted to try the beta test on Steam, but there is no beta version for DOS ... it's over?
Or is it private with the need to code? It makes no sense ...

So, what's the status?

If the beta was made completely open there could have been some people trying it without understanding that it was possible there would be changes that could make saved games incompatible with the released update.
As it turns out only relatively minor tweaks were made to the beta changes, so beta saves may continue to be compatible after the release of the next update (which contain a couple other things in addition to what is in the beta).

When should the "patches with BIG changes" stop ?

I know D:OS can use improvements here and there,
but I really Hope the Team of Larian Studios DO NOT edit D:OS till there're unwholesome amounts of patches ... a PERFECT GAME will never possible and even if you think it's perfect,
there'll be always people "complaining about ... " :hihi:

Such a slightly inquiring question:
When in a new patch has add up much more news... there will be another new Steam achievements?

No, there isn't a more detailed change log. The only thing mentioned about the editor for the next update is the inclusion of exporters to allow people to create their own content.
