Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Furnasture is invisable

I have a problem with book shelves, desks and maybe doorways showing up.

When I walk into houses I will see floating objects like a book but I can tell its meant to be resting on a desk. The desk can't be seen though.

Also, every time I go into a basement I cant get out without way points. There is no door/stairs leading back up. I think this means I can't see staircases either.


I am windows 7 64 bit, SP1.
CPU i7 2600k
NIVIDIA GTX580

Try verifying local files: in the Steam library, right click on Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition and select Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and then click on the 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache...' button.
With the GOG version, in the (optional) Galaxy client, select Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in the left column, then click on the More button, and in the Manage menu select 'Verify / Repair'.
