In playing with my friend we noticed that our experience points were out of sync. After replaying through we discovered that the Imprisoned Elf quest line is not awarding party wide experience.

The Teleport quest line from Gawin also did not award party wide exp

It seems that unless you're standing right next to your party members, then you won't be getting any xp.

Had the same issue, very annoying. Reloaded multiple times, everyone had the "share journal" button toggled, but no matter what, whoever turns in the quests gets the exp.

It's the competitive gameplay. Those quest are single character quests so it kind of makes sense.
