Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Enhanced Edition Unsheathed weapon issue

Can't find a tech page for this ongoing issue for the EE edition, so I need to ask if there's been a fix for the lead character's inability to sheath his weapon.

Tried other weapons, targeted weapons and all the other stuff I found regarding this. Nothing breaks his "fighting stance".

What can I do about the problems this creates when trying to talk to other npc's?

It appears to be a rather enduring bug: to the best of my knowledge it remains unresolved, but a quick work-around is to draw one's weapon (even though it's already drawn) and re-sheathe it, which seems to do the trick.

If you select a skill (or use a scroll) that needs a target and then cancel, that should also fix this.
