I decided to kill Hannag but she was too tough (at level 11) so I ran away.

Now when I return to Cloisterwood I get immediately killed by her.

She is level 13 and I'm 16 so why? How does she kill me on her first turn?

I can't tell as I'm playing Honor and it just says "Game Over" but I don't know why. What did she kill me with?

Not sure, but regarding to this video perhaps something like this Lava Portal?

Thanks. I got the idol of rebirth but I just die twice and I still can't see why.

Could well be lava - some insta-kill thing anyway.

I'm going to sneak up and destroy the portals one by one if I can (and then run away in between). See if that helps.

The lava seems to hit twice, so yeah, pretty impossible to not die. Perhaps with the trait that will deny your first death and keep you at 20% life?

she ports in a lava puddle on top of you = instant death

if it remains on the ground and you respawn on top of it you will die again

Oh well, I cheated in the end. Sneaked close to her and savescummed battlestomp until I got a critical hit to knock her down before her first go. Then it was easy.

Not my best fight but her initiative is too high to play fair.

The trick with Hannag is to sneak on top of the ledge where the fight with her transformed self should take place and teleport her to you. Should solve a lot of problems.

Once all the void things started to spawn, this fight quickly became one of the most intense, with crappiest fps, fights in my entire playthrough, and one of the few that managed to trigger me (a little) too. Things got pretty crazy pretty fast in that little chamber.

For every time one of my party died, I would reload several times after winning just to kill the bloody lizard a few more times in return. When this fight first broke out, I intended to reload later to avoid killing her, but I quickly changed my mind. She herself wasn't the real problem, but it was the way the portals spawned even after you destroyed them that got me tilted.
