Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Fane's Questline is broken [

If you didn't let Fane talk to Aetera the Eternal in the blackpits you literally cannot further progress his questline. Thing is I didn't know that at the time and he never even butted in the conversation, ♥♥♥♥ing nice.

Is there any workaround? Even a cheat or anything? I'm really sad I can't complete the main story quest for my character now...

Missing that conversation (if Fane is too far away; the distance check was increased there in the last update) merely results in not getting that particular journal entry and party dialogue. It will not block a couple later origin moments in The Nameless Isle and Arx.
