At Larian Studios, we are currently looking for a seasoned hero who can forge raw materials into epic cinematic and gameplay trailers. The ideal Trailer Producer candidate is self-driven, able to coin and pitch their own creative ideas, likes to address challenges in both conventional and unorthodox ways, is a proactive team player and wants to work with peers who are passionate about making great games.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the publishing team to create a variety of marketing assets, including, but not limited to trailers, cinematic content, video showcases, screenshots

  • Using the Divinity Engine tools to create custom cinematic
    content for trailers

  • Producing short gameplay videos for social media and Larian websites

  • Ensure the game and core features are properly represented in your marketing assets

  • Pitching ideas for videos and trailers

  • Video editing and image touch-up

  • Designing titles and graphics for trailers

 

Skills and requirements

  • Strong knowledge of video editing. Sense of editorial timing, pacing and ability to work with music

  • Knowledge of cinematic language and camera direction

  • Knowledge of camera techniques, composition and framing

  • Experience with creating animated movies or machinima is considered a major plus

  • Knowledge of game engines, in-game capturing and machinima production

  • Technically proficient with both PCs and current-gen consoles

  • Basic knowledge of video codecs and formats

  • Typography and motion design experience

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable with rapidly-changing requirements and tight deadlines

  • Desire to push Larian´s visual style to the next level

  • Ability to film and work with live footage

 

As a Trailer Producer for an independent video game developer, you will be working in the publishing department (Dublin), interfacing with the marketing team, and remotely with the design leads located in Ghent, Belgium.
