Web Developer

Vacancy available in Dublin, Ireland

We are searching for a talented professional to work with our publishing team on maintaining current websites, as well as developing new ones for Divinity: Original Sin 2, and future projects. Knowledge of both front-end and back-end web coding is required. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of PHP websites, applications, and services

  • Maintain and improve legacy code

  • Implementation and maintenance of back-end systems

  • Be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure, meeting multiple production objectives and high-quality standards

 

Essential Skills:

  • Strong flair for creative web design and interaction, with excellent attention to detail and awareness of usability issues

  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (including jQuery and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks), HTML and CSS

  • Knowledge of PHP and MySQL

  • Ability to wireframe and/or prototype and to grasp new concepts and tools quickly

  • Drupal knowledge is a plus

  • Ability to respond to notes and other feedback in a prompt, effective manner.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with little or no oversight or supervision

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Deadline oriented.

 

Essential Experience:

  • 4+ years of either freelance or full-time work with a wide array of design and technical skills

  • Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described

  • Knowledge of games industry
