Our games continually receive updates, be they patches delivering large content and feature pushes, or more hotfixes to address the more immediate needs of our players. As a build engineer, you'll be responsible for making sure that an up-to-date build is available as quickly as possible. You'll implement solutions and own automation initiatives to at ensuring stability.
Build Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and maintain robust new builds for each platform
- Monitor and improve on automated builds systems and continuous integration
- Work with IT to monitor and scale our buildservers
- Create and maintain documentation of the build/release process
- Assist release manager during a patch release
- Provide support for other team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Good knowledge of Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Ansible
- Good knowledge of scripting languages like Ruby or Groovy
- Good communication skills in spoken/written English
- You are a team player and willing to take responsibility
- You are willing to experiment and iterate over a specific feature
- Excellent software design and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Full Stack Development
- Experience with Perforce
- Experience in a similar position in another game company
