Tech Audio Designer

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Tech Audio Designer in Quebec to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities 

- Execute the technical Audio Vision under the supervision of the Tech Audio Director.
- Execute and maintain the entire audio pipeline, from asset production through implementation, integration, and deployment.
- Communicate with stakeholders and feature groups to ensure smooth execution.
- Design and implement Wwise systems.
- Write and maintain scripts for the audio pipeline.
- Support and mentor junior Tech Audio Team members.

Requirements 

- Solid understanding of the Game Audio pipeline from asset creation to soundscape design.
- Knowledge of scripting systems to develop customized, scalable automated solutions.
- Build pipelines to support Sound Designers in delivering creative output.
- Expertise in Wwise.
- Exposure to or understanding of building Wwise plugins.
- Experience working in the games industry.
- Strong understanding of general audio production, including asset creation, mixing, and mastering.

Nice to haves: 

- Proficient in creating and supporting node-based systems
- Basic knowledge in programming
